Parade Lighting Design

R-S Theatrics presented the musical Parade in September 2013.
The set design was minimal, so the lighting was called upon
to define space as well as time, place, and mood as the story moved between many different settings.
The photos below show:
- A man in an office and his wife at home writing letters to each other
- The trial scene, at a point when the focus was on the judge and witness
- A man in a jail cell as others continue their lives
- Two people talking in a room of a house (outlined in light)
while one of them remembers a long-ago conversation in flashback
